Welcome everyone to our blog. We created it to keep our family and friends that we do not get to see, as often as we would like, updated on our growing family.
First, after almost a year and a half, we finally have our own little peanut on the way. That year and a half was not easy, but now we truly know that God's plan is always best and His timing is much better than we could ever plan out ourselves. It is just one more step down the journey He is taking us on. We have learned that the road is not always straight, flat, and easy. It is more often curvy and bumpy and sometimes even leads you in circles, but that is what keeps it interesting, as straight and flat is often boring.
In the coming year we hope to have Wint start a new job as a special education teacher, as he completes his masters in special education, find a house, and welcome our little one into the world around New Year's. Our due date is December 31st, 2009.
We just had our 6 week appointment last Thursday. All of the test results we received so far are right where they should be. The part I was most worried about, the drawing blood, really wasn't very bad. The nurse was wonderful and really took my mind off of it by talking to me. We will be going back once a month for a while. This weekend we will be telling our families and celebrating my first Mother's Day!
We want to include you on the next part of our life journey. Please come back and check our blog as often as you wish. We love and miss you all and hope to see you soon!

Love the blog! May I link you on mine?
ReplyDeleteGirl, gotta get used to the pokes and prods. You'll be a pro in no time! The part I hated was the finger sticks. Ugh.
I am so excited for you guys!
Katie and Wint, We are sooo excited for you guys! I hope you're feeling great! Believe me girl, every poke and prod is absolutely worth it! Praying for your blessing as he/she grow inside of you!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I just put a link to your blog under my "linkies" sidebar so I can get to it easier, and so any of my (very few) readers can, too. It also shows up with how recently you've updated so I know when to check it.
ReplyDeleteYou can add a bloglist, too, by editing your layout and adding a gadget, I think.
=)
